2016.02.24 – Affinity Media – The OJD and Audipresse have merged to create the ACPM

The OJD, the office controlling the circulation figures of media in France, founded in 1923, and Audipresse, the company surveying the audience of print brand marks, founded in 2007, merged to create the ACPM, the “Alliance for the figures of Print and Media”. From now the association will carry out missions of control and certification of the circulation figures of the media brandmarks and realise the audience surveys and their promotion.

Its governance is based on the cooperation of all the organisations representing the French press, advertisers and media agencies through the CRTM (all media Research Club), as well as off-press publishers.

The new management board of the ACPM, which keeps its tripartite organization media-agencies-advertisers, was unanimously elected for three years.

The president of the Alliance will statutorily always come from the family of advertisers or media agencies. Its vice-president will ensure the operational management and will chair the “think tank”, with a goal of innovation and development of new indicators for the market. The CMPA has 1500 member and an annual budget of 10.5 million euros.
