The Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club is located on a beautiful country estate surrounded by rolling parkland, glorious golf courses, nature trails and towering woodland. In a gorgeous rural setting like this, you’d never guess it was just 7 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. The venue is also just 4 miles from Edinburgh Airport.
The present house was built in the 1720’s, to the design of William Adam, for George Dalrymple, youngest son of the Earl of Stair. It was then acquired by the Douglas family in 1760 and the Estate on which the house stands is still owned today by a direct descendant of the family, the 22nd Earl of Morton. There are now 215 rooms & suites, state of the art meeting facilities, two restaurants & bars, a luxurious leisure club with indoor swimming pool, two 18 hole golf courses, refurbished driving range and much more – all set amidst 1,000 acres of beautiful parkland near Edinburgh.

*Some guests may choose to arrive on Wednesday 6th September to take advantage of better flight connections to Edinburgh. We have managed to secure a better rate for those who need to stay additionally on Wednesday night, and/or those who would like to stay for longer. Please specify your requirements when you register for the event.
**Please note, rooms for additional nights will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis as we are holding a limited number of rooms on those dates.
***Every guest will take care of their own expenses for accommodation and extra consumptions.

Please note: in order to facilitate a seamless check-in experience at the hotel, we ask all guests to pre-pay for their hotel room before the event. This will mean no queuing at check-in and your hotel key cards will be handed to you directly during the conference on Thursday 7th September when the rooms are ready. The hotel will also be able to offer an express check-out on Friday 8th September, meaning you can attend the conference in the morning directly without having to queue at the front desk first. Pre-payment instructions will be sent to you by email after you have registered for the event.
We ask all guests to arrive at the hotel by 12pm on Thursday 7th September for lunch (or by 1pm at the latest for the start of the conference), so please plan accordingly.
Flights: Edinburgh has direct flight connections with most major European cities. Some guests may find better flights on Wednesday 6th September, as not all routes are daily.
Transfers: upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport, we ask all guests to take their own taxi to the Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club. From the airport arrivals area, please follow the signs towards “Taxis”. The journey takes less than 15 minutes and should cost around £15. Credit cards should be accepted in all taxis, but please do ask before you take it.
